10:00 am – Mullayanagiri Peak (Choose your stay nearby, for instance 20 km, 45 min drive)
Highest point in Karnataka (1,930 m). A quick 15 to 20 min walk from the parking area brings you to the summit, with wide vistas. Best time: early morning before the sun becomes too strong.
1:00 pm – Lunch in Chikmagalur town
Eat Malnad cuisine such as Akki Roti, Neer Dosa, or Kadubu at a local eatery.
2:30 pm – Baba Budangiri (short drive)
A lovely mountain range with caves and a shrine. Renowned for trekking routes and great valley sights.
4:30 pm – Hebbe Falls (10 km forest jeep drive from Kemmangundi)
Only accessible via forest jeep through coffee estates. The drive is rough but exciting, and the falls are great! Bring a change of clothes if you wish to enter the water.
7:30 pm – Dinner & Bonfire at Your Stay
